Experienced Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Account Manager

Lever is currently seeking a Search Engine Marketing Account Manager with a solid knowledge of paid search campaigns. They will be responsible for account optimizations, reporting, tracking, budget management and client communication.

Experience/skill required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4+ years of client services/agency experience working in online marketing, and more specifically search engine marketing
  • Tactical experience working within Search Engine Marketing platforms – Google Adwords, Bing Ads
  • Web Analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Self-starter, effective in start-up environment
  • Project management experience
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-focused
  • Effective communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Presentation skills are a must
  • Bid Management Tool experience (Acquisio, Kenshoo, Marin, etc.), a plus
  • Google AdWords and/or Analytics Certifications, a plus
  • Social media marketing, a plus

Job Summary:

SEM Account Manager must have the ability to:

  • Implement bid management, budget management, ad copy writing and keyword builds
  • Pull and analyze weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
  • Monitor campaign performance based on client goals
  • Analyze key performance metrics and recommend strategies
  • Ability to work within several industry verticals: Education, Ecommerce, B2B, Finance

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage campaigns across multiple platforms- Google AdWords and Bing Ads
  • Manage multiple clients and accounts
  • Track and report both internally and externally budget pacing, account performance and project tasks
  • Budget management
  • Keyword research and builds
  • Ad copy writing
  • Analyze click-through-rates, conversion rates, ROAS, ROI, CPL, CPA, etc.
  • Work directly with SEM Manager and Director on account strategies
