James McGinn, Account Strategist

As an Account Strategist, James McGinn leads the day-to-day operation of his clients’ online marketing campaigns. James currently manages campaigns across several mediums, including Paid Search, Comparison Shopping, and email marketing. His diverse background in the online space has let Lever capitalize on the growing needs of its clients’ presence in their marketplace.

Prior to joining Lever, James held several titles including Project Manager and Marketing Coordinator at Siren Interactive, an agency focused on the healthcare industry. There he led a team of copywriters, designers, and developers to create award winning websites, email campaigns, CD-ROMs, and other marketing tools for their Fortune 500 Healthcare clients.

Before Siren, James was Internet Sales Manager for Paulsupply.com an ecommerce website with a concentration in the Plumbing and Heating industry. There, he managed the website’s overall functionality through customer service, order processing, and product web page development. While there, James initiated new paid search and other marketing campaigns that eventually led to yearly sales of over 1 million dollars.

James graduated from the University of Illinois-Chicago with a degree in Biological Sciences.

As a native of New Orleans and a huge sports fan, James is always rooting on his beloved New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers. On summer weekends, James can usually be found on the golf course or at Wrigley Field cheering on the Cubs. In his spare time, James enjoys cooking (especially native southern food), reading, and spending time with his wife Susie and dog Ditka.

• James has never broken any bones but has had multiple surgeries including an Appendectomy and ACL Reconstruction.
• James has a very strong aversion to peas, especially the smell. Peas activate the gag reflex in him.
• James has been in two different Mardi Gras parades in his home town of New Orleans.
• It snowed on James’s wedding day.
